To calculate the correct kW (kilowatt) for home sauna heaters you can use the following as a guideline. For example: if you require a sauna heater for a 2m x 2m x 2m home sauna, follow these steps:

Calculate cubic meters:

• Multiply the length, width, and height measurements to find the sauna room’s volume in cubic meters.
• 2m x 2m x 2m = 8 cubic meters

Calculate power requirement:

• Using the guideline of 1.5 to 2 kW per cubic meter, calculate the estimated kW range needed for your sauna room.
• Using 1.5 kW per cubic meter: 8 cubic meters x 1.5 kW=12 kW
• Using 2 kW per cubic meter: 8 cubic meters x 2 kW = 16  kW
