Balance the water of your overflow spa, hot tub or swimming pool with our range of professional balance tanks. If you’re planning on getting yourself an overflow spa, desk level hot tub or in-ground infinity pool you’ll usually need a surge tank.
Overflow balance tanks or water surge tanks serve to contain the excess water that overflows at the top of your spa. Doing this ensures it doesn’t flood the surrounding area. Additionally, it also maintains the water level when guests get in and out of the spa. As a result a number of users can enjoy the spa or hot tub without water flooding your decking.
It does this by a gravity fall back from the spas overflow channel to the balance tanks. Furthermore, it also takes up the displacement water surge from the bathers body mass. The water is stored until the spa users get back out of the spa. When you’re finished using the spa the tank pumps the balanced water back into the spa. Usually the tank is paired with a filtration kit to clean the water before it is pumped back in.
