Bespoke Tiled Steam Room with LED Lighting Installed for Ascot Client

Recently Leisurequip have had the privilege of installing a bespoke tiled steam room for a client based in Ascot. Located within shouting distance of the famous Ascot racecourse, the client required a tiled steam room with built-in chromotherapy lighting. The room was to be bespoke designed and built into a recessed area in the clients’ home.

Popular bisazza tiling solution

As with many of our bespoke steam rooms we use bisazza tiling which is available in a range of colours and finishes. Consequently, this type of tiling ensures it is much easier to bespoke design both the interior and seating areas. The tiles selected by the client were an aqua blue mix with gold blend sourced from an Italian mosaic company.

Creating the mood with chromotherapy lighting

The lighting was required to softly fade from one colour to another. Additional stipulations for the lighting included the option to be able to stop pause the chromotherapy lighting on a specific colour. As a result, a stunning interior ambiance was created. The stunning bespoke tiled steam room is operated by a Tylo steam generator with extra control provided by an external control panel.

Additional LED down lighting strips were installed around the benching near the floor. The room also benefits from a speed controlled reversible fan to control air changes and steam visibility. The finished steam room overlooks a hydrotherapy pool the client had already installed into his property.
