Steam saunas combine the heat of the sauna with extra steam. Saunas are much hotter than steam rooms so your typical steam sauna will be a much more intense experience. The steam produced is great for skin cleansing and can remove dust particles, dead cells, bacteria and various skin secretions.

Dr. Paavo Aviola – Author of Worldwide Secrets of Staying Young states: “The sauna increases the eliminative, detoxifying and cleansing capacity of the skin by stimulation of sweat glands.”

The intense heat can speed up the body’s metabolism and assists in the removal of every day toxins built up in the keratin layers of the skin. A NeoQi steam sauna will also deliver a raft of other health benefits, for example; a smoker using a steam sauna will leave a yellow residue on the towels.
